Effective October 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Socially Inc. (“we”, “us”), which operates Parrot at parrotaisearch.com (the “Service”). If you use Parrot for a business, you agree on behalf of that business and confirm you’re authorized to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
What Parrot does
Parrot asks AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini) questions people ask about where to eat, measures how often a restaurant is named, compares restaurants’ public websites, and drafts content intended to help. Parrot is an independent service: it isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any restaurant it reports on, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and give an email address you control. You’re responsible for activity in your account and for keeping your email secure.
- Each account belongs to a workspace. Restaurants, scans and drafts in a workspace are private to its members.
- Tell us right away at jv@getsociallyapp.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Plans, limits and payment
- The free check and a free account are offered at no charge, with usage limits that we may change.
- Paid plans are set up after a conversation with us and are billed by Socially Inc. under a separate order or invoice, which states the price, term and limits (such as restaurants tracked and full scans per month). Unless the order says otherwise, fees are non-refundable and plans renew monthly until cancelled.
- Prices on the pricing page may change; changes apply to your plan from the next billing period after we tell you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- publish or approve content about a restaurant you aren’t authorized to represent;
- use Parrot to mislead people, impersonate a business, or publish false or unlawful content;
- try to access another workspace’s data, get around usage limits, or disrupt the Service;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service or its results in bulk, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission.
Running a free check on any restaurant is allowed: it uses only public information and what AI assistants say publicly.
Your content and approvals
- You own the information you provide and the drafts you approve. You give us permission to store, process and display them to run the Service, and to publish the pages you choose to publish.
- Drafts are written with AI and can be wrong. Nothing is published until you approve it, and you’re responsible for checking that what you approve or copy to your own website is accurate, including hours, prices, dietary and allergy information, and anything you say about other businesses.
- We may remove published content that breaks these terms or the law, or that we receive a valid complaint about.
Results aren't guarantees
AI assistants change often, and their answers vary from one question to the next. Parrot’s scores, rankings and diagnoses are measurements and suggestions, not promises. We don’t guarantee that any assistant will recommend your restaurant, or any change in customers, reservations or revenue.
Our service
We own Parrot, its software, design and methods, and the de-identified statistics we build from scans across many restaurants. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you. We may change, suspend or stop features, and we’ll give paid customers reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what they paid for.
Ending your account
You can stop using Parrot at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or others at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after an account ends.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
You agree to cover claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you approve or publish, or from your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users by email or on the site. Continuing to use Parrot after changes take effect means you accept them. Questions: jv@getsociallyapp.com.
